Chopt was born out of a simple but powerful belief: that great food doesn't need to be complicated — it needs to be honest. Founded in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, we set out to create a place where every ingredient is chosen with intention, every dish is crafted with care, and every guest feels genuinely welcomed.

What started as a modest kitchen concept quickly grew into a beloved chopt restaurant destination, earning the trust of our community through consistent quality and a commitment to real, nourishing food. We source locally whenever possible, partner with farmers who share our standards, and never compromise on freshness.

Today, Chopt serves hundreds of guests each week — but we still cook every dish as if it's the only one that matters. That dedication is what defines us, and it's what keeps our guests coming back.

Founded

The First Kitchen Opens

Chopt opens its first location in Peachtree Corners, Georgia with a menu of just 12 items and a team of four passionate cooks. Lines form on day one.

Menu Expansion & Local Awards

Our menu grows to 40+ items as we introduce seasonal specials. Chopt is named "Best Fresh Casual Dining" by Atlanta Food Magazine, putting us on the regional map.

Growth

Catering & Community Programs

We launch our professional catering division and establish the Chopt Community Table initiative, donating fresh meals weekly to local shelters across Gwinnett County.
